It’s normal for us to get sidetracked, we are human after all. But what’s really important is for us to realize the fact that our iman is getting lower or our sensitivity towards sins is reducing or the fact that we feel like we are distant from Allah. And when we feel this, it’s very crucial for us to act on it immediately. Return to Allah! The mujahadah won’t stop as long as we’re still breathing.
Ya muqallib al-qulub, thabbit qalbi ‘ala dinik wa ‘ala ta’atik.
Ya muqallib al-qulub, thabbit qalbi ‘ala dinik wa ‘ala ta’atik.
“And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless.”
[Al-A’raf; 179]
